WHat size to get for coming home outfit??
I have an outfit picked out at the Gap but I am not sure if I should order "up to 7lbs" or "0-3" months. When DS was born he was 7 lbs 13 ounces and went home in a newborn sized outfit. What would you do?

DD was 7 lbs 1 oz and her newborn take home outfit swam on her, so I say definitely newborn.

I brought one of each. My DS was born weighing 10lb, 9oz. The newborn outfit just barely fit and that was only time he ever wore the newborn size.

DS was 8.7 and newborn stuff fit him with room to spare, 3 months swan on him at first.

same..
I had the same outfit for all my kiddies...
my 8'2" boy, 7'13" girl and 6"3' girl all had NB size and it swam on all of them

DS was 9 lbs 3 oz and i bought him a 0-3 month Ralph Lauren outfit which was really big on him.

My baby weighed 9 lbs 1 oz and was swimming in her 0-3. Newborn looks so much better on her so I say newborn

Newborn for both my boys and both outfits where big on them. DS# 1 7lbs 11oz and DS # 2 7lbs 3oz

DS was 8 lbs 5 ozs & wore a newborn outfit. I would get newborn size unless you are expecting a very big baby.

DD's coming home outfit was 0-3 mo and that was a huge mistake. She was beyod swimming in it, her legs weren't even in the legs of the pants! She was 6'13. For our next LO we'll definitely have a newborn size outfit.

I brought a NB outfit and a 0-3. My DD was 7lbs 11 oz, and the NB outfit was a bit big on her.
So I'd bring both, but you'll probably be ok with newborn.

Newborn, my DD was born almost 10lbs and 0-3mos was too big on her...NB only lasted a week though.

Definitely newborn, DD was in newborn sizes for well past 7 lbs.

DS was born 9lb, 8oz. i brought both sizes to the hospital but 0-3 was too big so he went home in newborn and wore that size for about a week.
