What size going home outfit?
I'm trying to decide on an outfit and i've purchased mostly 0-3 months (no newborn). My doc actually advised me not to bother  with that size too but i'm thinking at least the coming home one should be? What are you all packing for baby for the hospital? Thanks!

OOOPs lol i thought you meant for you lol.. i have the babys outfit packed, i got 0-3 months soft bootie outfit with a hat.. its pink and has love written on the butt.. my DH picked out.. sooo cute. --- my baby is already over 8lbs, so i figure it wont be too big.

For the baby, I purchased a newborn outfit. I have a 0-3 month to fall back on but I am guessing that would be too big from what I have read from the BTDT Moms.

I got the same outfit in Newborn and 0-3 months. I figure if the baby fits into Newborn we'll use that one and he/she will grow into the other one. If not, maybe I will sell it on EBay or something.

Preemie. DS was very petite. I had a 0-3 but he just NOW (at 4 months) can fit into it

I brought a few different sizes with me. He ended up in 6-9 months for his going home outfit, so I'm no help to you.

I say NB. DD was preemie and came home in preemie but unless you have an 8-9lb plus baby NB is fine.

My baby is measuring small, so I have preemie and newborn clothes ready. There is one preemie outfit that is perfect for taking him home, but as my mom says, if he is too big for it, we will be very happy!!!!
In your case, I really think that a 0-3 that runs on the smaller side would be fine.

My boys were a month premature but they went home in a Baby GAP newborn outfit (rolled up). Nothing else fit them...I had to go out and get them some preemie outfits too. By the time they reached 8 pounds they fit into the 0-3 month stuff. So it really depends on how big your baby is going to be.

I have a newborn outfit that was a gift, but I HIGHLY doubt he will fit into it, since he is already measuring 7lbs. SO I also packed a 0-3 month!
