What size follicles will have eggs?
Now I'm a little nervous... I know the follicles that were bigger from previous visits are still there and probably bigger, even though there was no mention of them today- but I feel like I have a lot of smaller ones. Whatever the outcome is, it was it is, and I'm not worried but for my own curiousity, can someone please tell me what size follicles will have eggs to retrieve? I know my last dr. always used to say 18-20 was 'mature' and they would release when triggered, but is it different when the dr is actually going in to get them? (sorry if that sounds dumb)TIA!!  
On a side note- this is such a roller coaster ride!!!! I don't have a clue what to expect- the nurse today flat out told me that we wouldn't be triggering tonight and that we'd be continuing w/ our stimming, based on the sonogram... so now I'm really   LOL- it's all part of the experience!!!

Honestly, I don't think they know how many of the follicles will have eggs until ER. I could be wrong, but this was the impression I got. Don't quote me!

over 18 mm is considered mature
but, like the PP said, they won't know until they get in there
Last ivf they saw 8 follicles all through my monitoring, and then they only got 3 b/c the other follicles were empty...

I know exactly what you meant by your question..I've been thinking the same thing. I have 15 follicles...but how many eggs are inside!

Good point! I tend to forget these things (seriously!)- I think I told myself that yesterday but today is a totally different story... 
I just feel all over the place right now- it's going to be like Christmas- I have NO clue how many eggs they're going to find- or maybe it's more like Easter w/ the egg hunt!  
Sorry..., I have to amuse myself- I still have to stay awake for another hour and 40 mins.... and poor Dh has to be in Manhattan at 6:15 tomorrow morning   He's so tired- he was planning on leaving an hour ago to drive in and sleep at my grandma's house in queens- until we got the call.... Oh well, there are worse reasons to be delayed, right!?!?
