What size cake for big party?
So I'm hosting a big 1st and 4th b-day party for my daughters and hammering out the final details for fondant cake. There will be 70 adults and 30 kids (I know, it's insanity). Cake baker gave me pricing for cake that feeds 70-80. Is that good? I don't want to go bigger but I know cake is always left over, so I'm wondering if I should go smaller. I will also have a dessert table with some cupcakes, powdered donuts and munchkins (frozen theme), and some other stuff (cookies, choc covered pretzels, hershey kisses, etc.)
What do you think?

I think that size cake should be fine with all the other desserts you are having.

For a party of 100ppl I would def get a cake that servers 60-70 (especially if you plan on having other desserts).

since you are having other desserts, I'd do a smaller cake.

Agreed. I would say get a cake for 50 people.

I think a cake for 70-80 sounds just right.
