What should we do?
DH & I are leaving next Friday to go on a cruise. We're taking a 7:20am flight out of JFK to Ft. Lauderdale and we're taking the train into Jamaica so we can take the AirTram to JFK.
So we have two options to get to Jamaica
1. Take a 4am train from Ronkonkoma arrive in Jamaica around 5am and end up in JFK prob around 5:30am leaving us about 2 hours before the flight.
2. Drive to BIL's house the night before and take a 5am train from Merrick to Jamaica, arrive at 5:30am, take the AirTram and end up in JFK probably around 6:00am leaving us a little less than 1.5 hours to do the whole check in, security process before departure.
The second option would be nicer because we get an extra hour of sleep (and the train station is across the street from BIL's house) but I feel like it may be cutting it too tight. Thoughts? and sorry it's so long!!

Re: What should we do?
I think 90 minutes is plenty of time to check in, especially at that hour for a domestic flight.
