what shape rug?
I have a square dining room table, that opens up to a rectangle which I used to just leave it that way, but recently I am back to just keeping it closed and square.
I have never had a carpet under it, but painting room, and would like to add this accent. Would you do square or rectangle..or round for the heck of it?

I would probably go with either a rectangle or oval shaped rug.
