What questions do I need to ask?
What questions do I need to ask when calling around to mortgage companies to find the best mortgage for us?

How much are the lender's fees
How many points
How long is the rate lock good for
How much does it cost to extend the rate lock
Are you a direct lender or are you a broker
If you are a direct lender... do you sell of the mortgage after its serviced
If you are a broker... what banks do you normally work with
Get a good faith estimate
