We bought ours with the furniture at Behrs... we got a foam... very firm.

We got some kind of two sided mattress.
Extra firm on one side for when he's an infant and firm on the other for when he's a little older.
I don't remember the brand, but it was from BBB and I can tell you Thursday when they deliver it!!

We got the Fairytale foam 5 inch crib mattress by Colgate at BBB. I believe it sells for 89.99. Firm and lightweight.
