What Makeup Line Should I Choose?

I haven't gotten new makeup in years, and am thinking of throwing away everything and starting over. I usually use a mix of Lancome, Clinique and brands that one could buy at CVS (Revlon, L'Oreal, etc.) I don't go crazy and usually just wear nude/cream shadow, mascara, blush, lip gloss and use an eyebrow pencil. I use Chanel makeup brushes for application.

Does anyone have any favorite makeup lines that they recommend? And why? I think I am looking to stick with one quality line instead of buying a mish mosh of things. I have combination skin if it matters. TIA.

I really like Laura Mercier's flawless face line. I've been using it for years!

My current favorites are Tarte, because I love the colors and the products are natural.

Benefit's products are fun and good quality.

I also love Smashbox, because I find the stuff to be good quality (mostly the primer and lip glosses.)

Avon is my favorite cheapie brand. I find for the price that their quality is good and for the price I like to experiment.

Tarte's cream blush is amazing-very easy to apply because it is a stick. Sheer and very pretty. I have a coraly color for the summer and I love it.

Korres lip gloss is amazing. Also very natural and not too sticky. Perfect for summer activities that may involve wind (since the hair in the lipgloss thing is terrible)

I use Bare Minerals for foundation and I also have nothing but great things to say about it. It covers but doesn't make me break out.

For a night eye look, Smashbox's creme eyeliner is great.

All available at Sephora or Ulta. I prefer to look at Ulta because they have good prices.

I also buy make-up sometimes on Ebay. Sometimes people buy a shade by mistake and you can get new make-up for good prices.

I am loving NYX lately. Th e shadows are so cheap but they are such a great quality for the price.

i say mix it up..i never use everything from one line kwim? my fave fave eyeshadows are urban decay. they have pallattes you can buy with so many colors. i play with dif foundations lately...and my new fave blush is benefit sugar bomb. lips i go from drugstore to sephora so play!!! and go to sephora and get tons of samples you can try and remember you can return if you try at home and dont like something! have funnnn

I have yet to find one line that meets all my needs.

I have done a lot of experimenting--mostly look for things that work with my fair coloring, last long & don't cause breakouts.

Right now I use:

NARS-eyeshadow primer, blush, highlighter
L'oreal- make up primer, mascara ( lash out)
Revlon- Foundation (colorstay), Lipgloss, lip pencil
MAC-eyeshadow, liquid eyeliner, concealer
Make up Forever-HD loose powder, foundation (HD)
Korres-blush
Tarte-blush
Bobbi Brown-gel eyeliner
Too Faced-foundation primer
Urban Decay -eyeshadow (but doesn't last as long as MAC)
Lorac-lipstick, eyeshadow (but doesn't last as long as MAC)
Laura Mercier- Lips stick, lipgloss, concealer
Physician's Formula-bronzer, pressed powder, blush
Benefit-Posie Tint (liquid blush) Moon beam (liquid highlighter)
Stila-cream blush
Clinique-lipgloss
Neutragena-lip gloss, eye brightener/concealer
