What kind of sheets...
are you getting? The basic cotton (or cotton blend), flannel or jersey? I don't know pros and cons for any type. Does it matter?

I think cotton. Because its a natural breathable material.

Re: What kind of sheets...
I got the matching ones to my set. They are 100% cotton flannel and super soft!

Re: What kind of sheets...
The jersey ones I see are 100% cotton. I just registered for a jersey one and a cotton sateen one, and I'll see which one is better.

no, it was my bad. I actually had to look it up because I wasn't sure if the sateen OR jersey were 100% cotton, because I know they do have blends.
So I was mainly wondering if one texture was any better, or had more benefits than another texture. Like the baby won't move as much if she's on flannel or jersey sheets. I'll just get one of each, and see which works.

My favorite (which happens to be DD's ) are the velour polyester sheets!!!! They're much more gentler on her skin than the flannel and jersey sheets.

Re: What kind of sheets...
Most important is actually to make sure that the sheets are designed to stay on. For the same reason you are told no loose blankets in the beginning -- if a corner pops off the baby can get tangled.
I ordered flannel sheets from this site: http://www.babysheets.com/home.html
They are very comfy. They are hard to get on and off, but thats the whole point!
There are other brands as well, thats just the one that I've had so I can recommend.
