color combos need opinions
i know this will get moved but wanted the most traffic while I can.
If you have furniture this color combo (this is not the actual furniture)
What color rug would you accent it with.
Would it be bad if the rug has the same colors and then also a burgundy accent in it?

personally i love the rug in the pic with that mine is so simlar and it has a burgundy accent and looks phenonmenal i think i posted it on home board awhil;e back if u wanna do a search :)

If you accent the furniture w/pillows in burgundy, then I think the rug of the same color and accents of burgundy would look fantastic.
Me - I'm not a fan of a rug blending in a room. I like the rug to be a focal point, and pop against the furniture...so if it was my house (and it's not) I would go with an all burgundy rug...and accent the funiture w/burgundy pillows...

Burgundy would look awsome with those colors - those are the colors of my bedroom and the dark rug is really striking against the neutrals. I have a scarf valence in dark red to tie it in together a bit.

My house has alot of browns and beiges---we got a sectional rug that has alot of burgandy in it and it really makes the room pop. You can have a little bit of brown or beige in the rug to tie it together but I wouldnt let it be the prominent color in the rug
