how do I gage weight gain?
My friend is getting married in July and the BM dresses need to be ordered now. I'm only about 6 weeks now, but I'll be around 6 months at her wedding. I'm going to order a maternity dress, but I have no idea what size to order. How can I try to guess what my body will look like in 6 months? I'm presently a size 6-8. I'm 5'6 and about 128 pounds. I'm not sure if I should order the dress in a medium or large. Any advice?

The bigger the better because if you go too small there is nothing you can do....if you have extra fabric the seamstress can take care of that.

Here's the size charts if that helps...
Ets- it was too big, but anyway:
Medium- bust 38.5, hips 42.5, hollow to hem 60.25 Large- bust 42, hips 46, hollow to hem 60.75
My current measurements at 6 weeks are: bust 36, hips 39, HtH 53

I'd order the large. Better to have bigger than too small!

I also agree in ordering bigger. Everyone gains weight differently so it will be hard to gage especially since it is also your first.

Re: how do I gage weight gain?
I would order the large too. I am going through this right now. My SIL ordered BM's dresses when I 8 weeks, non maternity, I am 5'3'', 120 lbs, about a size6-8 in dresses. They ordered me a size 16, and it is sooo big everywhere, and too small around my belly.
