Moms with 2 to 8 month olds..
Name your favorite toys for your little babies..
I am finally going to meet my niece next week-- she is 2 months old almost.. and I want to bring a little toy.. My mom was just there and says she has a ton of clothes-- but no toys..
I appreciate your ideas!

I just bought Jared the Baby Einstein color blocks. The duck quacks and the frog vibrates.
They're very cute and easy to hold.

I've got these too. They are great, but my daughter (who is apparently less coordinated than Jared!!) couldn't really handle them until she was about 5 months old.
The first toy she could actually grab onto and get to her mouth around 3 months was Manhattan Toy's Winkel

I love Tad the frog, he sings in Spanish and English. DH does the Spanish with Alex since he is fluent. I do it in English, loves it.
I also loved my exersaucer. Alex also really liked a fish by Fisher Price that had a mirror on it. It was for tummy time, he still loves to look at himself in it. Alex also likes the tamborine and morracas from Gymboree and the the Gymboree Bubbles are great too.
