 Timeframe Question
after an inspection, and going to contract,... how long does it take to close on a house? (or does it depend on both parties) - our situation, we are ready to move in, and this house is vacant.

 Re: Timeframe Question
iT Definately depends on how fast the lawyers are working, it took us about 3 - 6 weeks after inspection and contract !
  Exciting !!!

 Re: Timeframe Question
Each situation is different but if the house is vacant I'm sure the seller wants to close asap also.

 Re: Timeframe Question
For us it was the same situation - the seller was already out. We weren't selling anything either so it was faster than if we were I think. From the time the house was inspected and we went to contract, we closed about 6 weeks later. HTH
