Here is mine. It has 2 leafs in the middle and opens up to sit 8 people. I got it from Ikea so very affordable, it is similar to one I saw at Crate and Barrell for much more.

We got ours at Carlisle furniture on glen cove road. It looks much different than the picture..the colors much darker- its a cherrywood.. I love it! Image Attachment(s):

It pulls apart and an extension comes out from inside the table - you could sit 8 people comfortably

Thanks!!! We bought it and weren't even looking at the time for a dining room set, but it caught both our eyes and since we were already buying furniture, we said what the heck!
As far as expensive, it really wasn't, more moderatley priced (for a dining room set). The china cabinet has a three way lighting. You just touch the top door hinge and you have three different light settings.

We purchased our dining room table & chairs from an Ebay seller: MBW Furniture
Our sideboard came from an antiques dealer on Ebay.

I have been looking for months! I think I went to every furniture store on LI!
Right now, one of my favorites is at JC Penneys. I also saw a few I liked alot at Tiffany Dinettes on route 112.

We didn't have any problems... we also got our bedroom set and my daughters dresser and armoire from there too.

This is ours when we first got it delievered and before we repainted the dining room red. Its a Canadel set from Fortunoff's, but we got it from a furniture broker in NC.
