i need decorating ideas for my sideboard
i have 2 sideboards in my dining room one long one and then a smaller one. What can i put on them? i don't have any electric outlets in the room, so i can't put buffet lamps on them. other then candle holders what are some options?

sterling silver/silver plated decorations (mint julep cups, etc), vase, dried floral arrangement, decanter, bowl filled with items, ceramics...the list could go on.
The one thing I'm not a fan of is framed photos on the sideboard in a dining room. I don't know why, but I just think that looks odd.
You should buy a home decorating/interior design magazine for ideas/inspiration!
Just browse around Home Goods and you're bound to find some items!
