what kind of cheese do you give your baby
my daughter is only 8 months.. what kind of cheese would could you give her. i have sharp chedder is that okay or should i go out and try the mild?

When I got the green light from the ped to give cheese, I tried cheddar b/c I had it on hand and DD didn't like it. I tried American - she liked, muenster - she liked - colby/jack combo - she's ok with, and mozzarella - she loves. She's 16 months and still doesn't like cheddar.

Hmmm, I *think* she was 11 months when I first gave her cheese. She is EBF and didn't start solids until after she turned 6 months, so her schedule is very very different from all the other mommies here on LIF.

I don't remember how old she was but we gave her american and muenster and she still loves both.

8 months and I gave American( she freaks when It out of the fridge, she loves it) Since that she has had alot of different cheeses and likes them all. She is a great eater in general.
