What is Your Toddler Having for Dinner?

I am desperately bored with the few things he will eat, and looking for any inspiration.

What are you feeding your toddler tonight?

I try to feed him what we are having. Last night it was salmon. Tonight it will be chicken parm.

Re: What is Your Toddler Having for Dinner?

What I tried to feed him - and what he is eating are two different things.

My dad came by and brought:
Potatoes and Eggs
Raviolis
Chicken Fingers

DS wouldn't even take a bite of any of the above.

Now, DH is feeding him oatmeal. I would have let him starve lol but he felt bad! Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Jack had his first donut last weekend - literally a quarter of a chocolate glazed. He was running around the house like a crazy person and doing spins for about 5 minutes straight. We were cracking up - he had his first sugar rush.

The next morning he was yelling at the box of donuts because he wanted more....it's like baby crack!!

Re: What is Your Toddler Having for Dinner?

Last night DD had pork tenderloin with roasted potatoes and carrots.

Tonight she had a breaded and baked chicken cutlet with brown rice and chopped broccoli.

The night before she had a meatball (loves mommy's meatballs) with some pasta and chopped spinach.

She usually eats what we eat or leftovers of something she likes if we are having something she won't eat.

Re: What is Your Toddler Having for Dinner?

My kids 99% of the time eat what we eat. I made honey sesame chicken over brown rice. It didn't go over well with either of them. They ended up having left over Tortellini from the other night.
