Ds room is currently monkeys, but we are in the process of making it into a big boy room and he specifically asked for turtles. So we are now doing a turtle theme.

Color theme - Navy and Red (with light blue walls)
Other Theme that matches color theme - Airplanes
Our nursery actually sis also good for a big boy room!

We were originally going to do dogs. Then we said let's do sports. Then we saw in Babies R Us dogs playing sports. How perfect is that. We are excited about it.

DS1 = nautical (navy blue and light blue with heavy white molding on the walls with accents of red and yellow)
DS2 = transportation theme (light blue and tan with accents of kelly green and navy)

DH would KILL me if I did this.
We're doing colors (light blue, brown, and light green) but I plan to have several not-too-cartoony animals in there. I already got blackout curtains that are brown and have giraffes and elephants on them. My college mascot was an elephant so I'm quite partial. DS gave me his first kick when we walked into the owl room at the museum a few weeks ago so I will also incorporate some owls into the mix.  For me, it's more colors than anything else, though.

bedding is monkeys with bright reds, blues, oranges, yellows. Also has numbers and letters on bedding and on wallpaper border. Walls are orange, carpet is blue. Sounds bonkers but looks good  and is very stimulating for DS.
