Re: What is your 8-9 month old eating for dinner?

Maddy is 9 months and she usually has a jarred meat dinner (eats between 1/2 and all of a stage 2) and some finger food. We have only done turkey and chicken so far. For her finger foods she has a fruit or veggie each night (carrots, butternut squash, peas, whatever fruit I have in the house that is ripe that day). Sometimes she eats pasta (I like ditalini because I don't have to cut them up) or brown rice or pieces of a muffin or bread that I have made. I know there are some other things that I rotate in as well, but I can't think of them!

DS is a terrible eater so I am no help, but he does get cereal and a Stage 2 dinner at dinner time as well as some puffs and snacks of that nature. I tried giving him diced fruit, but he wouldnt have it. I have yet to try pastina. Did you add butter or anything to it?

I tried to add a little pureed carrots just to make it a little easier for her to digest, but she just hated the taste, bc she doesn't mind texture, she likes texture normallyChat Icon
