What is wrong with people?
I just brought DD to my mother's job to visit and some lady that works there bends over and kisses her!!!!!!! I was so mad. That's so gross. I thought she was just getting a close look. I don't even know the lady and my mom hardly knows her. People know you are not even supposed to TOUCH a newborn when they come to visit, let alone KISS them! I put a wipe on her face right after and said, no touching. GROSS!

I can't say that has happened to me (a stranger kissing DS) and I do agree that i think its odd she did that.
But the only thing i can think of, is that people sometimes get really happy being around babies..and maybe she did it without really thinking you know? I always give people the benefit of the doubt...but i do know its unsettling for you!! Some people just don't think, it doesn't cross their mind.
I had a friend smother my son with kisses the second day of his life...then announced she was getting over a horrible virus!!! It took everything in me not to cry..

I don't blame you...its hard when they are so little, you want them protected and then someone goes and plants one on them...nevertheless someone you don't know!!!
Babies do crazy things to people, at least people seem to light up around them...and your DD is adorable by the way, i'm sure it was hard for that lady to resist!

Me too - but not strangers babies! I guess I'm just a first time paranoid mom since she's so new!
