What is the plan after your LO arrrives?
My mom and I were talking and she asked me what our plan was for #2 after the LO arrives. Originally I wanted to space them out, about 2 years between each one. After going through all this I worry that if we wait it might be too long of a gap. We have been back and forth and have decided to continue TTC immediately.
Has anyone run, thought or decided on what to do with continuing to expand your family?

we are going to wait one year and then try again. Since it took us 18 months this time around, a year of IVF, we are going to start when our LO is one.

I want to start right away. Realistically 3-6 months after the first arrives.
I have hinted at that to DH & still need to get him 100% on board though, so we'll see.
I suppose we will cross that bridge when we come to it, since lucky #1 is still no where in sight....

We will probably wait until the first baby is two.
The idea of this makes me  though because now I'm just focused on popping out one!

If I'm ever blessed to have a LO I will jump into trying for the second one ASAP! The clock is ticking a little too fast for me to wait around any longer!

I was talking to my grandmother, who had 10 kids all back-to-back, and she gave me some advice. She said to wait until the 40th day after giving birth and then  . It has to do with an old wivestale, that women are most fertile on the 40th day. Some silly hispanic wivestale. Then again this comes from the woman who told me to do jumping jacks every morning during puberty so I can be tall, I am 5'barely 1.

I think we'll try naturally for a few mths and if that doesn't work - turn to our freezer of embies and start FET's again. Definitely within the same year though... mama ain't getting any younger!

If we ever get lucky enough to have one we won't ever really try again, we'll just not prevent and see what happens.
I will feel more than blessed to have the one and I don't think I would be able to deal with the roller coaster of ttc again. That being said when it comes to ttc #1 we will do everything it takes.

i agree
it's been H E L L just trying to get one, i can't even fathom going through all this again for another one!
DH wants more than one, but i've said lets just please focus on even getting one before we start thinking about how many we'd have.
