Thanks!

Re: What is the most you will lift?

I'm 24 wks, and I think my max amount I could lift without being worried would be 25-30 lbs.

Re: What is the most you will lift?

my 45lb 3 year old...I am 30 weeks along.

But in fairness, my body is used to lifting DS...I have been doing it since he was 10lbs so its not as much of a strain.

DH yells at me all the time for lifting...I still do/lift everything I did prior to getting pregnant.

However when I was pregnant with DS I was more cautious. I would carry most day to day items, laundry, groceries...but wouldnt say, lift a heavy box...

Hmmm this is tough since I still workout and still lift weights! Lol. But at the gym I usually lift 10lb dumbells.

Re: What is the most you will lift?

I try not to lift much at all. I'll carry in groceries, but the heavier stuff I leave for DH. My little 20lb dog is probably the most I'll lift at this point. I'm right at the end - 39 wks.

Re: What is the most you will lift?

Thanks.

I was just curious when they say no "heavy lifting" what they consider heavy.

A quarter pounder with cheese!

I think the heaviest I do lift is a bag of laundry but that's only a for a foot or two. No one will let me carry anything. I'm guessing 20lbs.

Depends on what your body is used to. Up until delivery I was still carrying around 35lb DS.

Re: What is the most you will lift?

I read in one of my pregnancy books not to lift more then 22 pounds. But for people with children how is that possible? I personally try not to lift anything over 20 pounds. I am going to miss all the extra help after baby is out. Chat Icon
