What is the Dexamethasone for?

I looked it up and it says it's a steroid.

Does it decrease the chance of OHSS? Or just help the eggs produce better eggs?

And are Menopur and Ganirelix both used to produce more eggs?

Didn't they give you an IVF packet? It says it all in there.
I'll go see if I can find mine- I forget the reasons for each...BRB.

I used Cetrotide which I think is like Ganirelix - it stops you from ovulating prematurely...

ok-menopur is what helps stimulate your ovaries to grow multiple eggs.
ganirelix supresses the brain's ability to produce a surge- to make sure your body doesn't try to ovulate on it's own I think.
and Dexamethasone is to improve egg quality. It's an oral corticosteroid.

I couldn't find the right packet It's missing from my old folder but must be around here some place... but I think they're pretty accurate reasons.
