What is one factor
that can make a job worthwhile and enjoyable
and one factor that can make a job miserable.?
For me I would say good boss/bad boss or (and this goes together I think) getting credit and props for your work /having someone else take the credit

Re: What is one factor
Yup, it's always about people. It's not salary because I wouldn't accept a job that paid less than I wanted.
All the jobs that made me not want to get out of bed in the morning had terrible bosses and/or coworkers.
What REALLY stinks is when it's only one or two people, and you love everyone else you work with, but those one or two people are so high up the food chain and filter their misery to everyone below.

Re: What is one factor
Having a good team with everyone on the same page with the same work ethics and pretty similar values. This is so important in my field.
Also professionalism and respect. I think that my field tends to attract people with issues themselves and that can make or break a job.

Worthwhile: The commute, the people, the benefits
Miserable: I can honestly say nothing! I really like my job

Re: What is one factor
Yup, the people. I work with 24 of the most fun people you would ever want to meet. They are kind, caring, and I would say that 95% of them would go out of their way to help you. Also, my boss is really supportive and understands that its not just the 9-5 putting the hours in, its the work life balance.
