Re: What is everyone's Passover and Easter menu's
We celebrate both in our household.
For Easter our usual menu is:
Appetizers: Deviled Eggs Shrimp Cocktail Cheese and Cracker Platter
Main Meal: Spiral Ham with Pineapple Slices Coleslaw Potato Salad Fresh Tossed Salad Sauteed String Beans Rolls
Dessert: Assorted Candies Carrot Cake
For Passover, since it is over a week our menu varies.
We do the traditional Sedar meal which includes hard-boiled eggs, onions, potatoes and parsley in salt water, Matzoh ball soup, turkey, sweet potatoes, string beans, charoset (mixture of apples, nuts and wine), and assorted candies and macaroons.
For other meals throughout the week, I am thinking of trying matzoh lasagna, matzoh brie (breakfast for dinner theme), asian chicken with wasabi mashed potatoes, potato latkes with apple sauce and sour cream, etc.
