What is everyone doing for this Memorial weekend?
I have a 17 mth old baby boy and I would like to take him somewhere. We were thinking of road trip but might be kinda to late to book something. Any suggestions? Tia!

I am going to a decorator show house with my mom, mil, and grandma,
we have a pool party with friends scheduled, one of us will take DD to a birthday party for one of the kids in her class, and
will have some people over on Monday for a swim/burgers.

Sitting home Saturday because DH volunteered to help his bro move and he is taking my truck (the only car we have).
Sunday BBQ at the park
Monday BBQ at the house

Our usual Memorial Weekend stuff
Sat - 6:00am head to
Pinelawn to place flags on the graves of veterans - BBQ at home
Sun -Jones Beach Air Show Picnic at the beach
Mon - March in Memorial Day Parade with DS attend ceremony at local VFW, followed by our traditional Slurpee

Friday: off from work - taking the day to relax and sleep late
Saturday: going to Greenport with DH, my ILs and my parents to see the tall ships.
Sunday: Jones Beach Air Show, followed by friends BBQ
Monday: watch DH march in Memorial Day Parade in either Merrick or Bellmore - followed by BBQ with DH and his fellow marchers somewhere..
Its jam packed!

Saturday: Head out East for a b-day party and will probably stay out at FIL's house on Shelter Island.
Sunday: Lounging and heading back home
Monday: Memorial Day parade. DH marches every year for the VFW and this will be DD's first year attending.

Saturday night: Dinner on the Nautical Mile with friends
Sunday afternoon: BBQ at our friends' house.
Monday: BBQ at my IL's house.
When we're not busy being social, it's all baby prep, all the time!
