I would say check out Jetblue and you might be able to find it for under $200 R/T (it's still hurricane season), and if you book now, prices are usually cheaper way in advance!

Oh I forgot to mention, Jetblue doesn't fly into Miami, you would fly into Ft. Lauderdale or West Palm Beach!

Since prices can vary so much -- I would check the prices on Farecast.com - since they will let you know whether they think the prices are solid or will fluctuate.

If you fly out of Islip you can try SouthWest. They are always having "sales".
We flew to Ft. Lauderdale a couple of years ago and only paid $49 there and $89 back.
