What is a Good Age to take Your DC to the Circus?
It's coming to town, but I would image that 17 months may be too young. Thoughts?

We are taking my 2 1/2 year old and my 9 month old next week. We also took DS last year. He was 17 months. He did great at first then started to get antsy about 3/4 the way through.

I took Andrew when he was 10 months old and he loved it!! I took him again last yr and he loved it again but they change it every year and we hated it

I probably would have done it after she turned 2. Kaila doesnt always sit for long periods of time so I would be nervous that she would be trying to get up.

We took Kaitlyn when she was 9 months last year and she loved it - she clapped and sat in my lap and laughed and sat quietly the whole time (she did fall asleep for about 20 mins right before intermission and woke up just in time for the second act) we had no issues with her.
We have tickets to go again this year - she will be 21 months - we got closer seats b.c I think the better they can see the better they will be engaged. I figure we will bring her to the preshow again and then the show - we hope she will last again - but if not - oh well we will stay as long as she is having fun. We are in the front row of a section so no one in front of us too which I think helps. We also got her a seat b.c she likes to have a "big" girl seat - so hopefully she will be more comfortable but if not she can always sit on our laps.
