What happens at your first OB appointment?
I got my BFP last week  and I scheduled my first doctor appt for early next month. They said there won't be a sono, and that they will give me a script for bloodwork.
What else goes on at the first appt? DH wants to be there for everything, but I dont want him missing work for just an appontment for questions, KWIM?

My first appointments on both pregnancies.. they did a pregnancy test from urine sample, PAP smear, and felt stomach. Then gave me paperwork about what to stay away from and script for the 13 vials of bloodwork (for DNA and Stds). Second appointment we went over family history and had sono.
eta: sorry forgot to say "CONGRATULATIONS!!! And "Welcome"!!!

CONGRATS!!!!
My first appontment I had a sono, full exam, PAP, a ton of blood taken for tests and went over questions etc. with my doc.
