What happens @ 1st beta?
I've never had one before. Do they just do blood or do they do a sono too?
(My dr didn't do them for IUI's if AF came.)

At both clinics I've been at, it's simply a blood test (and then hours of waiting by the phone for the results...)

yeah just a blood test with a repeat in about 2 days. first sonos are typically during your 6th week.
