What formula do you use to supplement breast milk?
Due in a couple of months and intend on breastfeedling, just wondering though if I decide to supplement what formula is closest to breast milk in taste/texture etc..

My pediatrician recommended Gerber Good Start, said it was closest to breast milk.
My son had trouble with all of them until I tried Gerber Good Start.
My daughter did well on anything I supplemented with.

None of them are closest to breast milk but they are all essentially the same in their nutritional make up. However, they have different ingredients, different sources for their sugar. They gave my LOs similac advance in the hospital but I switched to Earth's Best organic. They may taste different and have slightly different consistencies (especially the RTF versus powder) which is why it can be trial and error based on what your LO prefers.

What formula do you use to supplement breast milk?
I've given dd enfamil when I need to supplement. I'm not sure if its close to breast milk but she is no problem switching between it and my milk

They all claim to be the closest to breastmilk.
When I asked the ped about supplementing, none of the Drs., NPs, or PAs suggested one brand over another including store brands.

Our hospital gave DS Similac and the ped said that was fine so that is what we stuck with.
