What foods was your LO eating at 7 months?
DS is 7 months on sunday. He is eating puffs and mini muffins successfully. Do you think it is okay to try pancakes or is he too young?
I was waiting for his 9 month appointment to start eggs, cheese ..other dairy...is that a good idea?

I think we started some table foods around 7 months. Do what you're comfortable with. You can always try small pieces and stop if your DS doesn't do well. I was really nervous at first, but DD has done so well with everything I've given her that I'm pretty lenient now with foods. She does get cheese, but my ped says no eggs or yogurt until 1 year. We did try yogurt, but DD didn't do well with it.

DS is 6.5 months and i've been wondering whether to give him any kind of table food.
also, when did you start giving them 3 meals a day? DS only gets oatmeal for breakfast and dinner, along with a fruit or veggie.

DD was eating everything! At about 6 months she started table foods. She was eating pancakes, scrambled eggs (whole egg), cheese, shredded chicken, meatballs, meatloaf, bread, yogurt, etc. As long as it was soft she ate it.

Re: What foods was your LO eating at 7 months?
DC had no solids until 6.5 months based on my own beliefs and my Ped's advice. So at 7.5 months only baby oatmeal and puréed fruit/veggies.
Before you start any dairy or eggs, please check with your Ped as some have reasons for waiting on these items and you should have as much info as you can before deciding what's best for you.
Have you tried small chunks of soft/steamed fruits and veggies? Cheerios?

One of my boys hates table food, he gags just looking at it, the other does back flips for shredded chicken, shredded cheese, yogurt, soup, pasta, beans, potatos, sweet potato, etc
