What flowers would you plant....

probably small ones b/c you don't want your view obstructed. If it gets a lot of sun make sure you buy flowers that need a lot of sun. I've learned my lesson b4.

is it in a sunny or shady spot?

my parents own a garden center, and they usually put like something around the edge that will hang over the pot, then something medium height, and then something tall in the middle, like one of those spike plants.

for a shady spot, you could use some bacopa on the edge ( delicate white flowers), then impatiens and then a spike plant in the middle for some height.

for a sunny spot, you could do some vinca vine on the sides to hang over the edge, then some geraniums ( regular, not the ivy kind) or vinca flower (look like imapatiens, but for sun) or even some petunias ( regular, not the "Wave" kind) then a spike plant in the middle. if the pots aren't that big, you could do just the wave petunias ( they spread really nicely and will hang over the sides) or the ivy geraniums, that will start to hang over the sides, too. have fun!!

great ideas so far....thanks! are most of these plants at a garden center or do they ever have them at lowes?
