What else is there to do with a 1 month old?

He likes his swing, I sit him in his boppy, sing to him, tummy time. I try to play with him and his toys but he's not old enough yet to grab them and play with them. Is there anything else I should be doing that I'm not to help him develop?

You're doing the right things...do you have a playmat that he can lay on?

I have the Rainforest playmat. Emma can't reach the toys very well, but she loves to look up at the lights and fling her arms around. Chat Icon

It's so tough at that age b/c as you said there is little engagement from the baby. Since the weather is improving, try to get out for walks. What about reading books? Do you have a vibrating/bounce chair? My DD loved that anytime.
It really sounds like you are doing everything that you can at this stage.

I had the same question when DD was that age. I definitely agree with using the playmat. Although it took her a while to actually play with the toys, she enjoyed looking at all the stuff.

ETA: You could also go for a walk.
