what does make it to blast mean?
Is that the same as making it to day 5?

I believe by day 3 they should be 8 cells.. That's what my triplets were at the day 3 transfer. The best grade you could hope for is A

That part I'm not sure but most people don't transfer befor day 3 anyway. I can't wait for your updates!!!

This is right  . I think LI IVF grades embryos on a scale of 1-4 though- they didn't use letters. None of mine made it to blast though, so they might change the grading system once you get to blast, but I wouldn't know.

Most REs want to see an embryo of 6-8 cells on Day 3 (but the more the better),
Morula stage is on day 4 with about 12-16 cells and then
a Blast with many cells (too many to count over a 100) and forms a cystic cavity termed the blastocoel within its center.
