We use the Dyson to vacuum, and DH will then mop the hardwood with Murphy's Oil and the tile floors with the Lysol cleaning stuff

swiffer soap and water - vinegar is supposed to work well also....but i've always been a little nervous of the smell....

I have a Bissel healthly home that is great on wood, tile and carpet.
For quick cleanups I have a Shark cordless vacuum.
