What do you think this rash is? (pic)
Doc office said it's prob heat rash but I just remembered I gave her her first *teeny tiny* taste of peanut butter yesterday morning. This rash just came out this morning. I put aquaphor on it & it didnt help. Any thoughts? TIA!

I think it's a heat rash, too. My daughter gets that all the time. Did you try just plain cornstarch?

looks like heat rash to me, especially based on that location. i have the same thing right now! i always get it when i'm outside with my hair on my neck for a long time.
do you think it's bothering her?

I think heat rash too but I would test the peanut butter againg. Maybe wait two weeks after this rash disappers and try again to be on the safe side.

I would say heat rash too. DD has some on her neck like that and on her back betweek her shoulder blades last week. we put some baby powder on it and after a few days it was cleared up.
I would wait for it to clear up and then maybe try a *tiny* bit of peanut butter again to make sure, but I tend to like to cover all my bases.

It looks like heat rash to me.
My dr. told me once if I could spread the area apart with my fingers and it turns white there is nothing to worry about. If I try the same thing and the redness is still there, it might be something more (nothing terrible but not something that will pass on its own)

I agree - heat rash.
I would think it wouldn't be in one spot if it was a food allergy (no experience with food allergies though).

My DS had th same exact thing on his arms.. I just thought it was from the sunblock but I could see now that it was probably a heat rash because each time he got it, he was out for long periods of time.

I used aquaphor and it seemed to make it worse. Then I tried cornstarch and it made it a little better. Thanks again!

My allergist told me that a food reaction usually occurs within 30 min of eating it so I highly doubt it is a reaction from peanut butter. Plus it wouldn't be in just that one spot.
