What do you think

I was kinda offered this new job at work...

I will still be handling all the finances (which is my 20 hr a week job) but I would also be takin g on this other program (which is another 20 hrs/ week)

My new hours would be 730-330 pretty much everyday- but I will still be able to leave @ 11:30 (my usual sched) on days that my work gets done early or whatever (not sure how often that will happen... but it can)

It is a pay increase (how much - Im not too sure) and we really could use the extra $$- right now!

I was planning on sending Ryan to work with me 2x's / week in January regardless- since he'll be a littler older, and would prob like the socialization....

My biggest concern is this...My babysitting arrangements would have to work like this...
My MIL would have him everyday until 11 (when she has to go to work) then drop him off at my moms until I got off of work @ 3:30- Do you think thats too crazy of a day for him?

Wake up my house- drop off to grandma @ 7- drop off to the other grandma @ 11 then I pick up @ 3:30 then he goes back home....???

Then once Jan or Feb comes 2-3 days a week we would regain some consistancy and come to work with me for the day....


Im gonna miss my baby- but the $$$ is really needed... and I just know that I will still be home early a few days here and there (and really 3:30 isnt that late of a day)

My other concern is the work load.... Currently my center is #1 on LI in the corp. as far as my books goes... and I worry that taking something else on my ruin that...

I just have no way of knowing how much time and effort this other job is gonna take until I take it... but I dont wanna run the risk of failure and or dissappoint my boss'
(Basically- if I accept it- I need to know I can do it)


So yea- thats basically my life in a nutshell right now... and input?? PLease...

I would take it, it sounds like a good opportunity for you.

I would take it too, I don't think it is too much for him, kids are very adaptable.

I would take the opportunity as long as the grandmas didn't have an issue with it.

It might be a bit hard while he is on two naps a day, but once he is down to a single nap it should work out perfect. (Although the second grandma may not get to play much -- it will be lunch and sleep!)

As long as the $$$ fits what you think you deserve for the extra work, then I say take it!....Kids are very adaptable to change and he is already fmailair with both grandmas, so it wont be a big deal for him!
