What do you take for pregnancy heartburn?
My obgyn recommended zantac 75 but it made me feel so sick.
Can you recommend something else.....anything?

When I was pregnant with DS I took tums (too many to count) and lots of dairy! It was a great excuse to have a milk shake!

When I was pregnant with DS I took tums (too many to count) and lots of dairy! It was a great excuse to have a milk shake!
I didn't know dairy helped with heartburn.
Starbucks frappuccinos have been making me feel better lately.

I took Zantac 150...No help there...Tums didn't work for me at all. I was on Nexium until my 3rd month then switched to something else. Didn't help at all. Ask your pharmacist what to take...And feel better. I had severe heartburn throughout my entire pregnancy and ended up in the ER one night thinking I was having a hear attack...

I lived on Zantac, so no help there but I also used tums.
From what I read online, dairy actually makes it worse, so you might want to look into that before consuming too much

Pepcid AC twice a day and MILK.
I heard almonds help too.
I had such TERRIBLE heartburn with DD that I would throw up.
I couldnt use Tums bc they made me sick.

I take prilosec but I have issues eve when im not preggo-works wonders...my advise, if its bad, talk to your dr because mine started with my first pregnancy and destroyed my esophogus to the point where ive been on meds since giving birth three years ago...

Mint chip ice cream 
Dairy has been a lifesaver. Milk, yogurt, and ice cream have worked better for me than Tums.

Yep and also take a good look at your diet...cut out carbonated drinks, red sauce, citrus fruits and juices...
Its not fun, I had HB from 10 weeks until literally the moment they pulled DS out....then AHHHH the relief!
