What do you store your shoes in?

What do you store your shoes in?
Right now by the front door I have a tray that holds shoes. I hate how it looks. Where do you girls store shoes if they are not in a closet and by the front door?? I need ideas.

That always drove me nuts. Now I have a closet, but I used to feel how you felt! Same with coat racks..I have issues. 
If you have the room there, you could get a bench/basket storage unit and it looks cute and disguises them.

We have a basket on the floor of our hall closet. when that fills up, I bring them up to their respective closets.

We have a huge shoe rack drilled into our wall in the guest room. It's filled up though so I might need an under the bed pull out.
