what do you ladies think
my dr. called with my beta and progesterone levels and I was happy to hear that my HCG levels were really high however my progesterone level was 17.1 at 8w2d. do you think 17.1 is too low? should I ask for the suppositories as a precaution? btw- i had a MC at 12wks back in sept. '11 and Im absolutely terried of it happening again

What did your doctor say? If he/she wasn't concerned about your progesterone, I wouldn't worry.

I thought it should be above 20? I'm really not too sure, I just know that my doc said anything above 20 is good (I'm at 40 and 5 weeks along).....considering you've had a miscarriage in the past I'd ask your doc if you should be on suppositories. Sending you some prayers everything will be ok!!

thank you all for your responses!
i am going to call my drs. office in the morning and speak to them about this. i think 17 is too low, imo. i will push to get the suppositories asap!!!
