What do you know about LIMEWIRE downloading?
My niece is trying to convince my sister to let her download and use it. My sister is concerned about it being illegal. I can't even access the website.
What can you tell me about it? Thanks!

Some of the stuff on there is illegal to download. DH is a computer programmer and he will not download software from it. Software from Limewire is usually riddled with viruses, so be careful.

all I know is that it can't be good because I tried to use it once and it slowed down my whole computer. A few days later, it crashed.

I had a bunch of problems when I used the free version when I upgrade to Limewire PRO I haven't had any problems (knocking on wood as I type  )

I use the free version, but I always have my virus scan going and haven't had any problems.
I ONLY download songs.
