What do you do with your old shoes?
I'm going to be cleaning out my closet soon and I KNOW I have a ton of shoes that are either outdated, I'm sick of, etc etc.
I usually just throw my old shoes out because I didn't think you can donate them to charity like you do with clothes.
I would think it's kind of unsanitary no?
Do you just dump your shoes that you are done with or what?

I donate to Big Brothers Big Sisters, and I've put shoes in the bags before. Of course I make sure they're still in good condition, but I don't know if they technically accept shoes or not.

If the shoes are very worn down, I throw them out. If they have only been worn a few times or are in at least decent condition, I donate or try to sell on ebay.

if they are in decent shape I donate them.
usually once a year I bring several bags to Vincent de Paul. Clothes and shoes.

Really worn, like sneakers I wore to the gym for months, garbage. Shoes that are lightly worn that I just don't want/need-donate.
Same as clothes

I wear my shoes until they're falling apart & I have to throw them out.
Sometimes I get a pair that hurt but I can't return... then I donate them (usually still with tags on).
I don't donate any shoes that I've worn more than a couple of times.
