In the trash.
I just found out that the Brita water filter didn't do so good with Lead removal "rated only Fair" and Chloroform removal was only Good, not Very Good or Excellent in Consumers Report.

I was watching that cooking show on the Food Network with that southern woman (I forget her name) and she said NY has the best water supply in the country

NY state and NYC do, but LI has a different water supply. LI uses ground water and the rest of NY uses reservoir systems.
