What do you do with extra ingredients?
I ask bc I just saw a recipe on here (that I WILL try this summer!) that calls for molassis. Now that is not something that is used often in dishes (at least the dishes that I make) and it occured to me that this happens a lot that I end up with strange ingredients that I'll never use again.
So for ingrediants like that that are left over what do you do with them? Save 'em? Toss 'em?

I try not to use ingredients that I wouldn't normally have on hand - but molasses - it keeps for a while - def save it.
It's good for baking a ham. Or cookies.
All other random ingredients - I just save too.
