What do you do when you...

I'm not talking about a vacation, I'm talking about like you just need some time to yourself, like half a day or something. What do you do? And does it always involve spending money (like shopping)?

It really relaxes me. I also like to take a drive, although with gas prices, that hasnt happened lately.

I ask DH to take Anthony to his moms house.. his parents love to see the baby whenever they can and he likes to go visit his parents anyway. I stay home and clean or relax solo and he comes back a few hours later..

If I am not too bad off, a manicure & pedicure will usually give me enough really quiet time so I feel a little better. If I REALLY need to be alone, I take a personal day and stay home by myself.

I love to pack myself a lunch or even just a coffee and just sit and watch the waves too. Right now I am VERY down about m finances, so staying out of the stores is my only option right now!!!
