What do you do if the garbagemen don't come?

So this morning the garbagemen were late - then they went as far down the street as the one house next door, but I don't think they even passed by us. If they did, they just drove on by.

I know for sure they haven't come back, and at least us and the neighbors on the other side still have the garbage out. I am starting to think they aren't going to bother to come back.

should I report it to the town or just keep our garbage until next week and hope they come back then?

if its a common occurance id call... if it was a 1 time thing... id let it go

call if its past 4 or 5 pm.

in my area, they pick up garbage at 8 am. I came home for lunch at 1 pm and saw the garbage still sitting on our lawn but I let it go.

By the time I got home at 6 pm, they had come by and picked it up.

DH came home from work and said "Oh, I put the garbage out last night but our garbage day is Friday"

He said the other truck was probably poicking up clippings or something.

So no worries

IDK if different areas do it differently... but I do know that some trucks are assigned only one side of the street. Another truck would then be assigned the opposite side of the street. They work that way a lot near me.

But I also see your DH said Friday is garbage day... so that solves that.
