What do they do differently if you are having your second child?
Is there anything different they do when you are expecting your second child?

What do they do differently if you are having your second child?
No. If you had a quick first labor, they may tell you to come to the hospital sooner than the first time.

No but you do learn something new from each pregnancy. With my second, I wanted to go asap to the hospital once I got contractions because I was scared. With my last, I waited till I couldn't handle it anymore and then went to the hospital. 3 hours later, I gave birth. Trying to do the same with this one plus I want to go drug-free. Almost did with my last but that last hour was torture.

What do they do differently if you are having your second child?
I'm 27 1/2 weeks and they haven't done anything different. I've actually had a little less care (fewer appointments) but only because we had a few complications the first time and none of that the second.
I'm probably going to go to the hospital sooner this time too simply because I had a quick labor with my first and it's my nightmare to give birth in the car or at home.
