What do I put in the crib?
I googled but can't find the answer I'm looking for. We got breathable bumpers, a mattress protector and a sheet to put over that. Are there pads I'm supposed to buy to place over the sheet in case she spits up? Thought I saw them somewhere but wasn't sure.

What do I put in the crib?
The less you put in the crib, the safer it is for baby. Those little pads are unnecessary IMO. What you have is fine! No need for anything more.

that sounds about right. sometimes i put a burp cloth or small waterproof pad under his head, but not usually.

I think you are referring to a sheet saver. I have one and it's awesome. It ties into the crib, and sits under DD's head, so when she makes a mess you just change that. Definitely a must have in my opinion. DD spits up a lot, and it has saved me from having to change her sheets every other day.
I bought them at BBB.

Yes, get them! DDs spit up all the time. Id be changing sheets on 2 cribs every.single.day without these. When they get bigger and skoot all around I can see them not working as well since they only go on one end but so far so good. DD1 has just started waking up at the other end of the crib.

I ended up returning my sheet savers b/c DS was not a spitter at all and we never had to change his sheet for spit up. So it really depends. I think what you have is fine for now. If your DC spits up a lot then you can always go out and buy the sheet savers.

We never bought the sheet savers because DS travels all over his crib. He never wakes up where we leave him so there's no point in using the small sheet saver.
